How to use:

  1. Be patient with yourself

It might take a few tries to get the hang of it. Use a pad for extra peace of mind until you feel confident in your technique

      2. Sterilize the cup 

Boil 500ml hot water, submerge the cup in hot water (preferably in a glass or clay container). Leave the cup in the hot water for 1-5 minutes. Drain the water then fold and insert

     3. Emptying your cup

During your the day you can empty and wipe the cup with tissue/hygiene wipes. Wash the cup with hot water inbetween use.

     4. Storing your cup

At the end of your menses, sterilize your cup again and put away in your FLO pouch or other clean container. Always sterilize at the beginning or end of your cycle.

 

FAQ:

How do I know when it is full?

The cup has small holes at the top.. once liquid reaches these holes, you'll feel a bubble. Thats your sign to empty your cup

Does it hurt?

No. Medical grade silicone is the closest in text to our own skin. You literally feel like you're not wearing anything. Beware, you might forget you're on your menses.       

What if I forget to take it out?

You should empty and clean the up every 12hrs. If you forget its not the end of the world, just remove, rinse in hot water and reuse

Can I use it when I am not on my period?

Yes. If you're trying to stop the use of pantyliners you can use the menstrual cup as an alternative occasionally not perpetually as the vag still needs to breathe.
